We are one of the oldest rugby clubs in Victoria and are based in Ashwood and field 3 senior teams in the highest grade of rugby in Victoria, plus one Colts (under 20s team). Our junior program is now one of the largest in the State and we have teams in every age group from under 6s up to under 18s.

Three years ago we fielded a women's team, in conjunction with a nearby club. They have played finals in the last two seasons and now have one of the largest playing squads in Victoria.

This year, as part of a partnership between the Victorian Rugby Union and Disability Sport & Recreation we joined with one of the wheelchair rugby clubs, which now plays under our name and in our colours.

We have a large and diverse membership base covering the full range of age, socio economic and ethnic demographics.

The Harlequin Development Fund has two main goals:

1.  provide new and upgraded training and clubhouse facilities for our players, volunteers and supporters. By providing new and upgraded facilities we hope to attract new players, volunteers and supporters to participate in grassroots sports.  The improved facilities will also benefit visiting teams when they play against us.
2. purchase and upgrade sporting equipment. This will again benefit our players and volunteers by enabling them to utilise more up to date equipment and enable the purchase of equipment that, particularly at training, provides a safer environment. By providing this new and updated equipment we hope to encourage new participants to sport, and retain those already involved.
