Henri Bellanger aspires to represent Australia at the Brisbane 2032 Olympics; a journey requiring focused dedication, extensive national and international travel and specialised sailing coaching. Your support will help 16 year-old Henri Bellanger to travel to Brisbane to attend the Australian Sailing Youth Squad Nacra 15 Coaching Camp in Brisbane commencing on the 12th April 2025. This Coaching Camp will help prepare Henri to compete in further National and World championships and other international Regattas. Whilst a far cry from the Denmark Sailing Club, which sails on the beautiful Wilson Inlet on the South Coast of Western Australia, Henri’s journey has already taken him to numerous State and National titles across Australia with many podium finishes.

All funds raised will go towards paying for flights, accommodation, meals and the cost of the Youth Squad Coaching Camp. Costs are detailed below. Any extra funds raised will help with costs to travel to other high performance catamaran National and World Championships  - 2026 Sail Melbourne (NACRA 15), 2026 Sail Brisbane (NACRA 15), 2026 A-Class National Championships, 2026 F16 National Championships, 2026 F-18 National Championships, 2026 F-18 World Championships.

Henri has been sailing since he turned 9 years old, and graduated to high performance catamarans when he was only 13. He is working towards the 2026 F-18 world championships in Jervois Bay, Western Australia with the goal of qualifying to represent Australia at the Brisbane 2032 Olympics in the Nacra 17 Class. Henri is a hard-working, dedicated sailor who trains at least 3 times each week. As a scholarship-holder with the Great Southern Academy of Sport, he is further supported with strength and conditioning training, nutrition, competition preparation and athlete support. The Coaching Camp will be run by Lucy Copeland, a World Class Nacra 17 Sailor and dual silver medallist at Youth World Championships in the NACRA 15 class.
