Please donate to help Jack Deguara, a local Medowie athlete, from Maitland Athletics Club, represent Australia at the World U20 Athletics Championships in Peru this August!


After a breakout year, Jack has been selected in the Australian U20 4x400m relay team. This season, he has dropped more than three seconds to finish the domestic season with an incredible time of 47.38s. Jack has achieved the following so far in 2024:

- 🥇 at NSW Junior Championships (U20 400m)

- 4th at NSW Open Championships (Open 400m)

- World Junior Qualifying time (47.38s)

- 🥉 at Australian Championships (U20 400m)

- 🥈 at Australian Championships (U20 4x400m relay)


Jack is not only an amazing athlete on the rise, he is also a kind and humble young man who never thought this would be possible. Now his dream is so close and we are asking you to help make it true.


The team levy for this trip is $6000 which is completely self-funded, so Jack would greatly appreciate any donation you are willing to give.
