My name is Jaxon Power and I am 11years old who loves life and every opportunity and blessings that comes with it. Let me tell you about my gymnastic development journey in the elite pathway in Gymnastic and how you can be a part of it.

Feeling privilege to be nominated and invited

• I have been nominated as part of the Gymnastics WA State Squad in preparation for the 2024 Australian Gymnastics Championship held in Gold Coast. The program consists of 2x intensive training with an interstate Master Coach attendance, 3x education session, includes online nutrition, mindset and performing under pressure as well as strength & conditioning prehab and rehab.

• I have been invited to the Mens Artistic Gymnastics (MAG) Team Future Camp held in Canberra. The program is designed to provide athletes with an opportunity for high-level training, advancing technical and physical capabilities while optimising their competitive edge to help reach the Elite Performance Pathway.

Feeling proud to qualify and to represent

• Mar 2023 - I competed Level 7 U13 in the State Gymnastics Championship
• May 2023 - I represented WA and competed in National Level 7 U13 in the Australian Gymnastic Championship and is the youngest to represent Western Australia

Working towards my goal in the next 12 months

• Dec 2023 - Attending the Men’s Artistic Gymnastics (MAG) Team Future Camp
• Mar 2024 - Competing in the State Gymnastics Championship
• May 2024 - Representing WA and compete National Level 8 U14 in the Australian Gymnastic Championship
• Aug 2024 - Attending the Men’s Artistic Gymnastics (MAG) Team Future Camp
• Dec 2024 - Attending the Men’s Artistic Gymnastics (MAG) Team Future Camp

Where is the fundraising money going to?

Predominantly for competitions, flights, accommodations, & uniforms for the following events.

• Dec 2023 - Canberra (MAG) Team Future Camp
• May 2024 - Gold Coast National Level 8 U14 in the Australian Gymnastic Championship
• Aug 2024 - Canberra (MAG) Team Future Camp
• Dec 2024 - Canberra (MAG) Team Future Camp

I registered myself through the Australian Sports Foundation (ASF) established by the Australian Government to provide financial assistance to qualifying individual athletes like me, where it enables me to not only raise funds to support my development in the elite pathway in Gymnastic but also to achieving my dreams.
