Visit websiteHi guys, my name is Jed Altschwager. I lost my leg in a workplace accident in 2015. Ever since that moment I made a conscious effort to look for the opportunities in my situations rather than focus on the negatives
Throughout my rehabilitation I started to really enjoy fitness and pushing myself. Instinctively I wanted more and started dreaming of representing Australia. With my love of the water, rowing really appealed to me and I started in the sport in May 2017.
I have been focused and driven ever since, wanting to prove to myself how far I can go, the Paralympics is really the greatest opportunity to prove that.
