As a young aspiring tour golfer, one of the biggest challenges I am facing is trying to generate enough funds to allow me to practice full time and pay my support team, whilst having the money to cover traveling to events (flights, accommodation, car hire, entry fees, caddy etc).
I envisage a minimum of 4 overseas trips by the end of 2024 along with a full schedule on the PGA Tour of Australasia (18 events). During this time I will be entering qualifying school for both the DP World Tour (previously European Tour) and Asian Tour.
Each qualifying school has 3 stages with an expected total cost for both of $40,000. In addition to these, the 18 events on the PGA Tour of Australasia will take my total expected costs for the 2024/2025 season to roughly $90,000.
To help me manage some of these costs I am hoping to raise some funds through the ASF.
