My name is Joshua Seah and I am striving hard to earn the privilege of representing Australia in short track speed skating in the world stage. 

I took up ice racing in 2017, immersed into the sport in 2019 and committed to serious training by relocating to Seoul end 2022 At the Apr 2023 Singapore SEA trophy event, I secured Gold in the 1500m and 1000m races and Silver in the 500m race. Overall came in 1st for the Boys Junior C category. I competed in the StarClass C-2 event (Feb 2024) at Nijmegen, Nederlands and achieved a Silver in the 500m and Bronze in th 1500m. Overall came in 3rd for the Boys Junior C. This is testament to the countless hours of training and unwavering commitment made both physical and mental.

My journey in short track has been a roller coaster ride, but at competive interval; my focus fuels my determination to push harder and strive to do better. I am deeply grateful for the opportunities I've been afforded and humbled by the support of family, friends and fellow skaters.

I am now working towards being selected into the Australian National team. At a competitive level, I am preparing myself to represent Australia in the World Juniors and Junior World Cup events to be held in early 2025.

Financial support is critical to my preparations for the upcoming season and will be invaluable as I continue through the challenges that present themselves in my journey.
