TEAM AUSTRALIA JUNIORS!
In 2025 for the first time ever, Australia will play host to teams from nine other countries for the Junior Roller Derby World Cup. This is an incredible opportunity for Australian roller derby athletes aged 14 to 17 to compete at an elite level right here at home.
We have selected two teams of young skaters to wear our Green and Gold. The junior skating talent in Australia is phenomenal; our teams are strong, skilled and dedicated. Our Frillseekers snatched the bronze medal at the 2023 World Cup in France and we can’t wait to see what they bring this time around!
Although the World Cup event is being held here in 2025, chasing this dream is still a significant financial commitment for athletes and their families. Skaters and chaperones must regularly travel to attend team training sessions, sometimes from regional areas with limited transport options available.
We would like your help to support our Junior World Cup athletes and their families with the costs of travel and accommodation. All donations are tax deductible through Australian Sports Foundation and would mean so much to these kids who are so passionate about their sport. The future of roller derby is in great hands.
