My name is Kailee Rykers, and I am a 17-year-old girl residing in Darwin, NT. As a competitive horse rider, I possess a profound passion for the equestrian disciplines of pole bending and barrel racing. I am delighted to announce that I have qualified to represent Australia at the forthcoming National High School Finals Rodeo (NHSFR) competition in the United States this July. 

My horse, Chex (Chexs Smokin Cowboy), and I have been collaborating effectively and undergoing rigorous training. Currently, we are competing in the NSW circuit, participating in barrel racing and pole bending events. At the Australian High School Rodeo Finals, held in Bendemeer from January 15-17, we secured second place overall in the pole bending competition across three rounds. This achievement led to my qualification for the National High School Finals Rodeo (NHSFR), scheduled to take place in Wyoming, US, in July 2025.
