Your donation is supporting Kayla Waller
My name is Kayla Waller and I am an Open Women's Australian Softball squad member living in Queensland, Australia.
My goal is to stay competitive in the Australian squad for upcoming World Cups and make the Olympic teams in 2028 and 2032, and in saying that, staying competitive comes at a cost. In supporting my softball career, you are allowing me to give 110% to my sport and to continue to wear my last name on the back of an Australian jersey.
My vision revolves around committing myself to playing softball full-time and advocating for women's sports, with a special emphasis on keeping young girls engaged in softball. I aspire to establish a pathway that empowers and supports girls in their journey with softball, fostering a lifelong passion for the sport. A crucial part of realizing this vision is demonstrating my dedication. Therefore, I will allocate 10% of every donation to support my home association, BSA. This contribution will enhance our facilities and development programs, ensuring that all young girls involved in representative softball this season receive the necessary resources and opportunities for growth. Together, we can strengthen our community and enrich the future of softball for generations to come.
Your donation's impact:
$100: gives Kayla a full tank of fuel to get to and from trainings;
covers the training fee for a young u14/u16 BSA representative player.
$250: helps Kayla buy a new catcher's glove for the upcoming season;
