Keanu has qualified to swim at the 2025 National Age championships which will be held at the Brisbane Aquatic center, Brisbane, the event starts on the 10th of April and finishes on the 18th of April.

Keanu has also been picked to swim for South Australia in their State relays team at Nationals in Freestyle and mixed medley relays.

Keanu has been swimming for the past 4 years and this will be the second time he has qualified for this major event.

The dedication for all swimmers that compete at a high level to make the qualifying times is relentless, most swimmers will train 7 to 8 times a week, 5:30am starts and train for close to 2 hours and then the same after school.

Making Nationals put swimmers in the top 10% of their age group and can be one of the hardest times to achieve.

Any funding would be greatly appreciated for Keanu to assist with new swimming skins, goggles, entry fees, coaching fees and general expenses for flights, accommodation and vehicle hire.
