As many of my friends and family already know, in June this year the Australian Mens Deaf Basketball Team, the Goannas, are heading to Greece to compete at the DIBF Basketball World Championships after a six year hiatus from international competitions!

The World Championships are held in Heraklion, Greece and due to the location, this trip carries a significant expense of $7,000 per athlete. Deaf athletes receive no financial support from the Australian Government and rely solely on their personal income, family and friends, and the Australian public to cover the cost for me to compete. So, in an attempt to ease the financial burden, I am seeking donations of any size to support me on my journey.

All donations will support my expenses as a deaf athlete such as airfares, accommodation and registration fees. All donations over $2 are tax deductible as this fundraiser is supported by the Australian Sports Foundation.
