Lake Karrinyup Country Club is raising funds to implement its Clubhouse Master Plan as part of its Strategic Plan.

Originally constructed in 1973, the Lake Karrinyup Clubhouse was celebrated for its architectural excellence by the Royal Australian Institute of Architects and was the envy of every other golf club in Western Australia. Over the past fifty years, it has been an integral part of the Club’s history and unique golfing experience.

Our Clubhouse, like any building, needs periodic upkeep to cater to the changing needs of Members and maintain our Club’s premier status. Over the past thirty years there have been several alterations and additions to the original building, including the enclosure of an external courtyard to create the ‘Bistro’, extending the Members’ Lounge to the south to create the area we now use for presentations and most recently, the creation of the ‘Grill’ to the west of the Lounge.

To ensure our Clubhouse reflects the high standards expected of Lake Karrinyup Country Club, the General Committee has developed a Clubhouse Masterplan. This Masterplan, based on member feedback, identifies priorities for future work and is subject to regular review to address any new priorities that may emerge.

While subject to change, current priorities include:

• The creation of an area for indoor golf simulators for both practice and social use.
• Refurbishing and upgrading the Dining Room, including new furniture and the creation of an external deck to the south with views to the 18th green.
• Refurbishing the Men’s and Women’s Locker Rooms and wet areas.

With its heritage charm and warm welcome, the Clubhouse remains a beloved cornerstone of the Lake Karrinyup community, and we are committed to ensuring it continues to serve our members well into the future.
