Support Liam’s U17s Aussie Crocs South Africa Tour! This Australian school boys team is getting ready to compete at the SA Schools Water Polo Championship in East London, South Africa from the 7th December to the 11th December. Simon, a mentor coach and highly regarded Water Polo personality both in Australia and internationally, has been in discussion with School Water Polo South Africa for many years to bring a group of Australian athletes to the IPT tournament. An Australian School team has not toured South Africa since 2015 and participated within and beside the IPT tournament. The tour will provide Liam and the team with life-changing sporting experiences. While water polo may be the reason for the trip, the success of the trip will hopefully be measured by the life experiences the boys gain and the contacts they make with SA competing athletes. A life experience for the Australian boys with a Friendship tour in 2024 will hopefully make tours between Australia and South Africa an ongoing opportunity for athletes to travel in either direction. As a tour group, we won’t be resting between games to enhance performance – we will be making sure we see the sights and leave South Africa with great memories.
