With many years of trials, Lillia’s hard work and determination have finally paid off!

Playing football since the age of 6 at school, she joined her 1st club, Woodvale FC, where she played in the U8s boys team. She naturally moved into the girls competition at 12 years old and joined Kingsley Westside FC U14 Girls team. This is when Lillia’s journey to get into the state program began. Trialling every year to not make the final cut until now.

With the help of the mentors and coaches at Kingsley Westside and playing above her years, Lillia has grown in confidence and developed into a known footballer throughout the state.

Lillia has achieved many school and club awards, not to mention the Kingsley Westside Juniors club person of the year award in 2022.

To help her own game Lillia also had extra training over the last six months with “2 halfs” a high performance football coaching centre which helped her improve dramatically and lead her to now playing for Red Stars FC U18s Girls team who compete in the Women’s Central League. Not to mention helping the U21s win the night series this year. 

All money raised will go towards the total cost of the trip, which includes airfares, accommodation, meals, transfers, kit and incidentals.
