My Olympic journey started as a 12 year old in a small rural town called Esperance. We had one small yacht club and my dad signed me up to a learn to sail course one school holidays. I had no idea at the time sailing would take me so far and introduce to me to so many new people. It's changed everything about my life and has been the greatest privilege and joy of my life to do what I love for so long. I've now completed two Olympic campaigns, and been apart of the National Team for 9 years! The first was spent helping my team mate Tom for the Rio Olympics where he won Gold. The second I tried my best but fell short to my team mate Matt who I trained with all through the Tokyo campaign. He also went on to win Gold. Now it's my time to try and be selected for Paris 2024. I've got the knowledge and the people behind me to do it, I just need the financial freedom to fully push for this next 2 years to get it done. It's a tough spot to get selected for with only one person going to each Olympics but I truly believe I can make it and fulfill a lifelong dream. I'd love it if you were a part of it!
