Let me introduce myself.  My name is Madison Eddie.  I’m a keen cricketer and have been playing since I was 10.  I have played for my local club for 4 years in the U10, U11, U12’s and recently in their U14’s.  I have also played Representative Cricket for the last 3 years within the Camden and Campbelltown District for the U13’s Mollie Dive Shield Team for 2 years and last year in the U15’s Margaret Peden Shield Team and have been successful it being selected again for this year.  Last season I also played for the Campbelltown Ghost Women in their U18’s Brewer Shield Cup.  In the winter season I play Indoor Cricket, and have done for the last 4 years it allows me to sharpen my cricket skills and has exposed me to a competitive game than I love.   For the last 2 years I have been fortunate enough to have been selected into the NSW Indoor Cricket Squads. Last year we toured at Casey Stadium in Victoria and I was named in the Australia U14’s Merit Team. This year it was held in Ipswich, Queensland and I was in the U16’s where we lost in the grand final by 2 points. 

At the conclusion of the Tournament in Ipswich, an Australian U16 team was selected to represent Australia in Dubai at the Junior World Series, to be held from October 1-6. I’m honoured and excited to have been selected for this tournament.  

Representing Australia at the Junior World Series is a self-funded tour and Cricket Australia don't cover any costs. These costs include flights accommodation, training, insurance and meals which all add up to a significant amount. With the honour of being named to represent my country in Dubai I will now look to raise $5000.  I am seeking any support that you can give to assist me to realise my dream of representing Australia at the Junior World Series.
