Back in 2001, a group of Old Collegians started what has become nothing short of some sort of phenomenon - The Bald Eagles Football Club - a Super-rules team for over 35-year-old men. The club has had enormous success across the years winning premierships and attracting a bunch of old boys as well as many ex-AFL players to its ranks.

We don't care so much about the on-field results. We are more interested in seeing these blokes support each other especially when it's needed most. The positive impact on men's mental health at the Bald Eagles is probably greater than even the physical benefits we get from having a bit of a jog around and kicking the footy.

We would encourage anyone who enjoys some old boy camaraderie and getting themselves a bit fitter to come down anytime they like. The fitness requirement is low - trust me! If you're aged 35+ (we have ages 60+ still playing) then you qualify. Our game fixture can be found at https://www.baldeagles.com.au/home. I hope to see you at a game and for a post-match beer.

We are hoping to raise funds and allow the club to purchase a Defibrillator unit which is a vital lifesaving piece of equipment in any community organisation, but even more so when that community is made up of men aged 35-60. I hope we can get your support.

 Go you bald thing!
