Dream Big - Road to Paris for Australia
With countless hours of training, hard work, and dedication, I achieved huge success winning the Team Silver Medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. My passion for horses and the equestrian sport tells me that my best is yet to come. My team is the biggest it has ever been right now and I know that there is still so much more we can accomplish – DREAM BIG.
Therefore, we are raising funds to support my equestrian team – MJET, and 3 talented horses Barbie, Barina and Lando who I have been bringing up to the top level for the last 3 years. We intend to travel to Europe and participate in our first event in early July, following with the main event in France in October where I hope to be qualified for selection for next year’s games. Your donation will help cover the costs of the team’s trip, which are essential for my success.
By supporting us, you can help inspire the next generation of female athletes and be a part of my journey to the top – Paris Olympics. Every contribution counts, no matter how big or small.

About Megan Jones
An elite three-day event rider, amazing wife, caring mother and an inspirational woman who is dedicated to the creation of exceptional experiences in equestrian.
I still remember my first time riding when I was five, I found riding a horse so calming. When I was 10, I knew riding was going to be my career, and I want to represent my country at the World Championships and Olympic Games for as long as I was able to do so. Since then horses have become my passion and become an important part of my life.
Born in the Adelaide hills South Australia, I have always had horses in my life. Horses taught me discipline, hard work, dedication and probably more than anything…… heartache. You have to have a goal, you have to have plan, a dream. I always dreamed big, with the support of my parents, family and friends I have been able to achieve some amazing highs with my horses. The Anna Savage Award, Best and Fairest, 2002, 2006 and 2008 (joint winner with Chris Burton), 2004 team bronze at the World Equestrian Games in Aachen German, the Australian Centenary Medal 2000, 2008, South Australian Female Athlete of the Year, Olympic silver medal for Australian at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and was inducted into the Australian Equestrian Hall of Fame.
To all of my supporters, I thank you all for everything you do and have done for me. I hope to make you all proud. I don’t take any of it for granted. Everyday I open my eyes is a good day, every day I am able to open my eyes and get in the saddle is a great day.
Dream Big!
