Supporting athletics at Melbourne Grammar School

Melbourne Grammar School has a long, proud tradition of excellence at athletics, stretching back to the very first Modern Olympics in 1896 and Australia’s inaugural Olympic representative and champion, Edwin Flack (OM 1890).

Athletics has always been one of the pillars of Melbourne Grammar sporting endeavour and the lessons our students learn have an enormous impact on future sporting endeavours.

There are currently more than 160 students competing in the 2024 spring athletics APS season, with many more competing at House level or at Grimwade House. The school is focused on twin aims of participation and high-level achievement. With your help, we can better support our athletes through the purchase of updated equipment, improved nutrition and athletics-specific training camps.
