My name is Mellanye Targino, I am an Australian/Brazilian futsal player.

I have recently been selected in the Australian Women's Futsal Team to compete in the Nation's Cup in USA against many National teams from around the world.

This is the second time I have the opportunity to represent the Green and Gold, with the first being the Red Bull Neymar Jr's Five World Final 2018 in Brazil.

In the wake of the Women’s World Cup and lead up to the Olympics, this is the opportunity to put the women’s game in the spotlight and let us showcase what we can do.

As a committed athlete, I have to take time off work and tertiary studies to attend futsal campaigns interstate and around the world.

I am a self-funded athlete and there is a large financial cost involved for players to attend the Nations Cup, therefore I am seeking the generous support of individuals, local businesses and companies to assist me, so I can compete successfully in the USA.
