International junior bocce

International junior bocce

Michael has been playing bocce since the age of 10 and has been critiquing his technique for the past 2 years which allows him to compete at a high standard.

He represented Australia in Monaco 2022-2023 and also France and Italy in the same years.

Michael has represent his state ACT at the Juniors Championships held in Melbourne and came home with 4 gold for Singles, Mixed Bowl Throw, Precision & Progressive Throw and a silver for mixed Bowl Throw.

Michael also represented his state ACT at the Nationals Championships held in Perth and came home with 2 gold medals for Precision and mixed Rapid Relay.

The juniors results have secured a spot in the National Junior Squad and attending squad training for the hopes of making the team to represent his country at the upcoming World Championships held in Puerto Rico in December.

We appreciated any assistance to help with costs as Bocce is a self funded sport and any donations are 100% tax deductible and a receipt is sent by the Australian Sports Foundation and all funds go towards the costs involved for Michael to attend these functions including equipment, accommodation, travel.

Thankyou to any support that is given.
