Ned is super excited to be selected into the Victorian U12 Boys team with School Sports Victoria, to head up to Cairns in August. As a team of 14 Victorian Boys, they'll compete against WA, NSW, QLD, SA, TAS and NT in the National Hockey Championships. Most of the participants are from Melbourne and the trainings and meetings in the lead up (May-August) are in Melbourne, so there will be some significant additional costs associated with being a regional participant. There are no expectations associated with this fundraising however SSV has encouraged team members to do some fundraising, so Ned has focussed this on the additional travel involved in the lead up and if there's any left over, it will be put towards his return flight ticket to Cairns. Because this is a personal sports journey and opportunity, we're not approaching friends or family for support, we think it will most likely be a small business sponsorship opportunity for fundraising. Thank you for any support.
