I am heading off to Germany in July this year to race with the Australian Dragon Boat Team at the 17th World Championships.
This event brings together countries from all over the world, racing across multiple distances - 200m, 500m, 1000m and 2000m.
It is a huge honour to represent Australia and I am lucky enough to be doing it a third time - following on from the 2022 Asian Championships and the 16th World Championships, in Pattaya, Thailand in 2023.
As with previous events, this is independently funded by each individual athlete.
This year, we have been advised the campaign will cost approximately $10,000.
Funds raised will go towards

- Multiple interstate training camps
