I have recently been selected into the heavyweight mens four to compete in the under 23 world rowing championships for Australia. The competition will take place in St Catherines, Canada which is a historically tricky course being on a dammed body of water.

We have upped our training once again to push for the next tier in elite rowing which is winning a world title at the pathways level (u23) and hopefully find a way into the senior team (olympic team) in years to come.

As many of you who have been extremely generous and supportive over the last few year would know, last year I was fortunate enough to get silver at the u23 world championships in Bulgaria in the same boat class I have been selected in this year (the mens coxless 4).

I am once again reaching out for much needed financial assistance as the seat fee has increased from last year as has the training to take it to the next level and try to bring home the world championship. I will also be studying during this campaign meaning I will have no time to work and support myself let alone save up the large amount of money required to afford this campaign.
