Your donation is supporting Noosa Swimming Club
Visit websiteFor 25 years, the Noosa Swimming Club has provided an opportunity for swimmers in our local community to engage in competitive swimming at all levels. We are a community sports club based at the Noosa Aquatic Centre with a strong reputation for developing competitive swimmers, particularly in long-distance and open-water swimming events. The team is led by our head coach, John Rogers (JR), who has a history of coaching high-performance athletes and achieving international success. Some of his notable athletes include Kareena Clark (Bronze Medallist in the 10 km Marathon Swim at the 2020 Japan Olympic Games) and Nicholas Sloman, who is set to compete in the 10 km Marathon Swim at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. JR is supported in his role by the NAC squad coaches Kareena Clark, Jo Fernandes, and Ciro Ramalho. Currently, we have 18 competitive athletes participating in age-group and open Regional, National, and International events this season—and we need your support! Our competitive swimming season for 2024/2025 has just begun, and we are seeking the crucial support of our local community to help our club facilitate the development of our athletes. This includes support for our junior athletes who are just starting out, as well as our high-performance athletes who compete on the world stage.
