North Balwyn Baseball Club has been operating since 1937, and is located in the LGA of Boroondara in Melbourne's inner east.

Over the last 15 years the North Balwyn Baseball Club has grown tremendously and is one of the largest clubs in the Melbourne Winter Baseball League (MWBL). We currently have eight Seniors Teams (A1s-A4s, and four D1-2 teams), two Women's Teams, and ten Junior Teams.

In 2023 Boroondara Council initiated a Master Plan re-development process for Myrtle and Macleay Park. One of our goals in starting this fund is to help support this re-development effort where we can as a club. Our goals for the Master Plan are:

• re-development of the Myrtle Park Pavilion (our clubroom)
• moving the main diamond relative to the clubrooms
• installation of neeting over home plate
• re-development of the infield playing surface into an all weather surface
• construction of permanent back nets for a second diamond
• a new scorers box
• new undercover batting cages

Other goals of this fund is to continue to be able to raise funds to help maintain our existing equipment and purchase new equipment. This includes things such as:

• new wheels and motors for our pitching machines
• new pitching machines
• new waterproof Baseballs for training
• new nets for training and games (frame and netting)
