The PINT FC has been approved to field a team in the Northern Territory Football League (NTFL) Men’s Premier League (MPL) Division from season 2022-23 to complement our Women’s Premier League team.  The PINT FC has been part of the NTFL for the past 12 seasons after the merger of the Top End Australian Football Association (TEAFA) and the NTFL at the conclusion of the 2009-10 season. PINT FC was formed in 1982 and spent 28 seasons in the NTFA/TEAFA competition. The club currently fields teams in four NTFL senior divisions (Women’s Premier League and Reserves, Men’s Division 1 & 2). Over the last couple of seasons there has been some informal talks on the PINT Committee as well as with AFLNT officials about fielding a MPL team. These talks became more serious over the last twelve months and the PINT FC committee made the decision in December 2021 to officially aim to have a MPL team. Originally the committee decided not to put a date on this entry application however a decision was made in late January 2022 to aim for the 2022-23 season.
