Hi there,

I'm Raian Ferido, I'm currently fourteen and have been chosen to participate in the under 18's 2023 School Sport tournament taking place in Canberra.

I aspire to play professionally and represent my country in future and upcoming big events such as the World Cup.

This tournament is one of very few opportunities to be recognized by important figures and programs such as, the Young Matildas and colleges from other countries which could provide a multitude of opportunities for my dreams and aspirations.

With chances of becoming a professional footballer so low it is so important that I make every opportunity count. Which is why to prepare for this tournament I am currently training 5-6 days a week with an average of 1 - 1 1/2 hours of training each day and a game once a week.

All tournaments benefit my development and career, but it is opportunities like this that truly can have a huge impact on my future.

I am hoping to fund a bit of the costs (2,800AUD) to ease the expenses for my parents. Any donation big or small would be much appreciated and in will mean a lot to me and my family.
