The Redcliffe Golf Club provides an important contribution to the community through the provision of recreational and social services. The Club is committed to growing the game of golf within the community and providing quality facilities that can be enjoyed by all.

Surrounded on one side by the natural waterways of Hayes Inlet and on the other by the residential community of Clontarf, recent weather events have highlighted the increasing risk the Club faces from the impact of community drainage flowing onto club land as well as the threat of encroaching sea levels on the western boundary.

Significant capital expenditure will be required to implement solutions that address the drainage issues and contribute to ensuring the Club remains viable in the long term. The Club has developed, through our appointed Course Architects, a Course Master Plan (CMP) to address the drainage issues and enhance the facilities and course to deliver an improved experience to all our customers, both members and the community at large.

The sole purpose of the Sustainability Fund will be to provide funds to support the main programs of work within the CMP being:

• drainage works abutting Hayes Inlet (16th to 18th holes)
• drainage works impacted by Clontarf residential (2nd and 10th holes)
• playing surface remediation - greens, bunkers and tees
• a "whole of course" cart path network to enhance playability in wet weather

RGC Sustainability Fund contributions will NOT be directed toward any part of general maintenance or routine works and all use of funds must be approved by the Club's Management Committee.
