My name is Rene Owen, and I am a dedicated 18 year old rugby league player with a passion for the sport and a determination to advance my career. Last season, I had the incredible opportunity to represent the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles in the U19s Tarsha Gale Cup. This year, I am excited to have earned another train and trial spot for the U19 Tarsha Gale Cup again with the Sea Eagles, showcasing my ongoing commitment and progress in rugby league.

In addition to my rugby league achievements, I have also made significant strides in rugby union. Last year, I represented the Manly Mermaids for rugby 7s at the state championships in Foster. This year, I was then selected to trial for the 18s Waratahs rugby 7s. I succeeded in this selection and travelled to Brisbane to compete in 'Battle of the border' where we competed against Queensland.

Lat year I also represented Manly Sea eagles in the Under 17s Lisa Fiaola Cup. As well as Gordon Junior Rugby Union at the State Championships and was honoured to be selected for the Sydney Blue team, highlighting my versatility and talent across both codes of rugby. Last year, I had the privilege of playing for Sydney Red CHS team in rugby league, further honing my skills and experience on the field.
