Rose has been training and playing Futsal in Townsville since early 2024 after representing her school for Futsal and seeing them win the local tournament. Starting out this year for her 3rd season in local soccer, she has demonstrated such passion and tenacity as a young player, and we are so proud of her!

Her futsal journey has only just begun with her starting as a player for her school team, who won the local school's competition for U11 girls. She then went on to represent North QLD at the National Schools Futsal Tournament at the Gold Coast in September and was selected from that event to represent Australia in China.

As an avid Soccer and Futsal enthusiast we hope to continue to support her training and skill development as a young athlete and are excited to see where it takes her in the future.

We are incredibly proud to see Rose join the international tour Representing Australia in 2025. The trip will involve many teams playing in one of the largest Chinese based Futsal tournaments which will be held between 24th July – 27th July 2025 in Jiangmen China. The team will travel to China on the 21st of July, returning to Australia on the 2nd of August.

Once the first tournament is over, the team will travel to the next Province to compete in another tournament, spending a total of 12 days in China. As the hub and gateway city in the western part of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Jiangmen commands a favourable geographical location in the Greater Bay Area. Known as the "Capital of Overseas Chinese" as it is the hometown of many overseas Chinese. It is also home to the World Heritage site of Kaiping Diaolou and Villages.

This is an unmissable tournament for young & youth futsal players to experience and one we are very excited to see Rose attend.
