My name is Ryan Gooch, I am in year 11 in the ACT.

Thankyou for your support in my endeavour's to participate in representative Basketball for the ACT and make it to the NBL (National Basketball League, Australia) and the NBA (National Basketball Association, Nth America).

At the local level I currently play in the U19 JPL (Junior Premier League, top division) Ginninderra Rats Basketball team, the Ginninderra Rats Men’s Premier League 2 team and have just been made a junior development player in the Men’s Premier League 1 team.

At the state level I played in the ACT U18 Men’s Territory Team that competed at the National U18 Basketball Championships held in Brisbane, April 2024. This team also played in the East Coast Challenge in Sydney, January 2024.

I have been selected in the U16 ACT School Sport Basketball team. This is my 3^rd consecutive selection in this team. This year the competition is at the Gold Coast, 27^th July – 1^st August.

At these championships last year in Perth, I was selected in the All Australian Team.

I have outlined the following costs for you to make an informed decision about the level of support you would be willing to contribute to:

$1,500 – School Sport Australia Games – U16 Basketball Championships (Individual travel - return airfares, team levy, championships costs, training fees, management costs) 

$3,800 – U18 National Basketball Championships, Brisbane (Team travel – accommodation, flights, ground travel, training fees and food) 

$869 – East Coast Challenge (competition fees, training fees, management costs)

$507.05 Ginninderra Rats JPL registration

$669.23 Ginninderra Rats Senior registration

Plus, the ongoing costs of shoes, ankle braces, team uniforms and miscellaneous items needed to play.
