Hello all!

*Update* Wow I won the 2025 ProVelo Super League series! But 2025 is not over and I still need your help for this year! While for 2026 I will have a contract with the Liv Alula Jayco Women's continental team, which I am very excited about I still have a journey for 2025 to develop further and fulfil. 

I’m Sophie Marr, a 20 year old cyclist with big dreams of making this my full-time career!

In 2023 and 2024, I rode for a UCI Continental team based in Australia, which provided an amazing opportunity to experience the world of cycling in Europe. Unfortunately, due to financial challenges, the team was unable to continue at that level.

But that hasn’t stopped my dream it has only fueled my passion even more! I ended last season with my best result yet: 8th place at the Tour of Guangxi in a Women’s World Tour event. That achievement ignited an even greater fire within me to keep pushing forward.

In 2025, I’m incredibly fortunate to have been selected to ride for the Kiwi team Black Magic, giving me another chance to chase my dreams abroad. However, this journey comes with significant financial challenges. With rising costs, I am seeking support to help cover expenses such as flights, accommodation, travel, insurance, and general living costs.

My ultimate goal is to secure a spot on a European team in 2026, allowing me to fully dedicate myself to this sport. Any support, big or small, would mean the world to me and help keep this dream alive!
