Southern Beaches Rugby Club

Southern Beaches Rugby Club

In 2015 we celebrated the opening of our new 2.5 million dollar clubhouse at Allen Davis Oval and we now enjoy first class facilities which are the envy of many clubs in the Newcastle and Hunter Rugby Union
(NHRU). 2015 also saw the introduction of a women’s team to the Club who made the semi finals
in their inaugural year. We also had our Premier 2 and Premier 3 teams make it to the semi finals.
With these milestones achieved in the last two years, 2016 well and truly finds us as a club on the rise. Our goal for 2016 is to win more than one senior premiership and finish in the top 2 of the Club Championship table. Our vision is for these new facilities to become a hub of the community, uniting it’s people and promoting healthy and happy lifestyles.

As a community based Rugby Club, we aim to foster an environment that:
• Promotes and supports local business.
• Encourages player development by using accredited and highly
experienced coaches and support staff .
• Ensures players peak condition by focusing on pre-season and
ongoing strength and conditioning training.
• Educates and provides professional medical assistance.
• Encourages family interaction as well as a special and unique
Beaches Family culture.
• Supports the ongoing development of
our Junior players.
• Builds an off field rugby culture.
