Hi my name is Marli Brunckhorst. I am 13 years of age and compete for Macquarie Hunter Athletics Club. I am passionate about the many sports I play, but I love my running and this is my real passion.

I have been participating in the sport of Athletics since the age of 6 yrs. In the past few years I have really applied myself to training and have improved a lot. My best performance is placing 5th in NSW at the State Jnr Championships in the 400m. I also placed 5th in the 100m at the CHS State Athletics Champs last year. 

My recent success has motivated me to train harder to try and make the podium at future state events and to one day qualify for the National Championships.

I was absolutely thrilled to be selected to represent Team Lake Macquarie to attend the 55th World Children's Games in Daigu, South Korea for the sport of athletics. This is by far the highlight of my athletics career and I can't wait to compete in another country.

As you can imagine, this trip is very expensive and I would love your support no matter how big or small. Thank you very much in advance
