The event will involve participants walking across the weekend of February 24th and 25th, 2024 to raise money for Sydney FC Foundation. Participants will be able to join the section of the 110km event that best suits to ensure the event is a success and to show support in raising money, awareness and action through being involved in the Bondi to Barrenjoey event. The track takes in some of the most picturesque parts of Sydney, along the beautiful coastline from Bondi Beach to Barrenjoey Lighthouse, throughout the Eastern Suburbs, North Shore and Northern Beaches of Sydney.

The event will ensure that mental health and wellbeing education is provided to the 1500 adults and young people with a disability who participate in the Sydney FC Empowers Me programs, along with their families, carers and support networks.

Statistics show that people with a disability are between 3x and 5x more likely to have a mental health illness, either in the form of anxiety, depression or suffer from high or very high levels of psychological distress than people without a disability.
