Hey everyone,

After years of training and competing in various events, I finally have the opportunity to represent Australia in rowing.

My crewmates - Doogal, Joe, Oscar, Ryder and I are feeling confident about our chances of winning. Our coach Judith Ungemach is world-class, and Joe and Ryder won the same event last year. We train five days a week, all year round, and we are State and National champions. We have also won every event in the domestic season.

This is my HSC year, and it's also my last chance at a Junior World title. If I'm not on the water, I'm studying hard.

The Championships will take place in early August in Paris, France, with a couple of weeks of training with the Australian squad in Varese, Italy beforehand. The 'seat fee' covers all major aspects of the trip, such as flights, meals, accommodation, transport, insurance, boat hire, and boat transport.

We also pay for our own domestic travel costs so it would be great to cover that as well.

Any support you can offer towards my seat fee would be greatly appreciated. I know how fortunate I am to have this opportunity, and I want to do you all proud. It's been many early mornings (thanks, Dad!) on the water, but I absolutely love this sport, and it has changed my life.
