Charli is a 16 year old girl who has a deep passion for sports and is currently working casually at McDonalds.

Charli lives on the Central Coast with her mum and 2 younger sisters. Over the years Charli has played Soccer, Rugby Union, Oz tag and Netball. Between the age of 3-12 years, she had dance lessons at a local dance academy, this lead her to perform in many concerts, Eisteddfods and National dance competitions, where she won multiple awards throughout the years.

Charli has played Netball for the past 4 years on a where she has also coached an Under 8’s team for 2 years, umpired for 3 years, won a Grand Final in 2022. She played goalie in club soccer on Sundays, having been runner’s up in 2020 and 2022 Grand Finals.

Charli currently attends Tuggerah Lakes Secondary College Tumbi Umbi in year 10. When she was 14, she was approached to play for The Entrance Secondary College as goalie for their Under 19‘s school soccer team. Charli was the youngest player to ever take the field. She was then introduced to Futsal and has been playing for the past 3 years in the school team. In 2020 and 2021 the school made the state finals but due to covid the competitions were cancelled, in 2022 the school made it through to the second round. Charli was recognised and asked to trial for the Central Coast school state team.

The Australian Futsal Association held trials for 2022 School State Championships under 16’s, as there was no Central Coast woman’s team, she trialled with Northern NSW team. Charli was selected to play goalie and travelled to Newcastle for trainings. The competition was held in Brisbane in September, from here she has been selected to play in the Australian School FutsaI Under 19’s Youth Team as goalie.

Charli will be touring the US in July 2023, the team will be having intense training in Portland before heading to Las Vegas for the 3 day, US championships. This is a self-funded lifetime opportunity.

Charli has also just made it into the under 16’s Northern NSW team for the National Club Futsal Championships in January held in Sydney 2023 as goalie.

Any donation great or small will be muchly appreciated and will help make Charli’s dreams come true.
