The Owls Rugby Club in Canberra caters for senior and junior rugby players and supporters from campuses at Canberra University and the Australian National University, as well as the broader community through the Inner North of Canberra.

While both universities offer a large range of academic scholarships, the Owls Rugby Club aspires to provide rugby scholarships to support players in pursuing rugby and academic ambitions simultaneously. The Owls Club is also developing its business and academia networks to provide career guidance and support to its young players.

The Owls Club aims to develop a wide-ranging scholarship program over time but hopes to first launch scholarships for indigenous and female players, as part of the fulfilment of its club values. The Club strives to provide an equal opportunity to all players, regardless of their socio-economic status, to follow their dreams and achieve their full potential.
