Hi, my name is Vinceman Chong. I am currently a nationally ranked figure skating representative for Australia. I started figure skating at 6 years old and a few years later competed at my first local Melbourne competition when I was 8. My love for figure skating sparked when I performed my first ever program during my skate-school performance, The Jackson 5's 'I Want You Back'.

Since Covid lockdowns in 2020, I have had to delay my training by almost two years. Only just beginning to catch up to speed this year. I was provided a great opportunity to represent Australia this last August at the Junior Grand Prix in Bangkok. This was a great learning experience, however, due to figure skating being a niche sport in Australia, I lack the necessary funding required to allow me to train overseas to further improve my skating skills and represent Australia at a more internationally recognised level.

My aspiration in the next few years is to compete and represent Australia at the Junior Worlds Figure Skating Championships and Winter Olympic Games.

Your contribution and support will provide me with the opportunity to receive training from overseas, cover travel expenses, and further lift my figure-skating skills for next year in order to represent Australia and get a much better result. All funds will go towards my skating journey in support of my figure skating expenses.
