Wesley College Melbourne

Wesley Sport Development Fund

Established in 1866, Wesley College is a co-educational school educating approximately 3200 students from 3 year old kinder to Year 12 across 3 metropolitan campus.

Wesley College highly values its sporting traditions and history of success in the sporting arena. We recognise that sport is an essential part of Australian culture and share the passion for sporting achievement enjoyed in our community, as well as the positive attitude inherent in giving something “a go” and trying your best.

At Wesley we encourage each student to achieve their personal best. Students build stronger friendships with one another and with their teachers through their interactions on the sporting field. Their sense of school spirit, pride and teamwork is enhanced when part of a successful sporting team. And, of course, sport is also about having fun, enjoying good health and trying something new.

Wesley Sport offers something for everyone – there are 19 sports on offer for girls and boys, including athletics, badminton, basketball, cricket, cross country, diving, football, gymnastics, hockey, rowing, netball, soccer, softball, swimming, table tennis, tennis, volleyball and water polo. Snowsports is also a popular winter sport, offered outside the normal sport program.
