In the 1990s, there was growth in Women’s Rugby. In Sydney, a women's competition was formed, and West Harbour entered a team in 1990. They were an immediate force winning the competition that year. Our West Harbour Women’s team experienced success winning five premierships in the 8 seasons they competed and were in 6 consecutive grand finals between 1999 – 2005.
In 2024 Wallaroos star Iliseva Batibasaga announced her decision to retire from the Wallaroos, and made the transition from player to coach at West Harbour. IIi reflects our commitment to build a strong, diverse, and competitive Womens program. On the heels of announcing Head Coach Iliseva Batibasaga, she has joined Cas Van Rythoven on building and coaching our Womens program.
