The Wanderers Foundation, in partnership with the Australian Sports Foundation, have launched the Western Sydney Wanderers Foundation Christmas Appeal 2023. Funds raised will allow us to expand our community programs across the Western Sydney Region, giving thousands more people access to football.

Launched in 2020, the Wanderers Foundation allows the Western Sydney Wanderers FC to directly make a difference through initiatives that make a positive impact in the community.

Over the last three years, the Foundation has had an impact on over 10,000 individuals in the Western Sydney community and our range of programs focus on female football, multicultural engagement, the indigenous community, disadvantaged youth and All Abilities Football.

The past 12 months we have run an African Cup, engaged with CALD communities through a range of programs, supported 70 girls to access our intensive 20-week Future Wander Women Program, run successful programs at Cobham and Reiby Youth Justice Centres and held an All Abilities Gala Day for over 200 people with a disability. This is just a fraction of the programs we've run but we want to do more, much more and with your help we can achieve this.

With a target of $30,000 for the Christmas Appeal, the Wanderers Foundation is calling on all those in the Western Sydney community to support our grassroots and community initiatives.

Western Sydney Wanderers CEO Scott Hudson said “We are more than just a football club and the Wanderers Foundation is the vehicle for us to give back to the community that supports us. Our Christmas Appeal, wants to change the lives of individuals across Western Sydney and there’s no better way to do this than through giving them a pathway to enjoy and express themselves through sport and football.”
