I am a 21 year old youth offshore sailor from the Gold Coast, Australia, and my goal is to break the Guinness Book and World Sailing speed record for fastest monohull solo nonstop circumnavigation of Australia in my 21ft Mini Transat Yacht. The current record; held by Lisa Blair (AUS) sits at 58 days, 2 hours, 25 minutes and 39 seconds, in her 50ft yacht Climate Action Now. I aim to complete the record with an elapsed time of 50 days to secure my place in the record books.

This record is equivalent to sailing a third of the way around the world, or 13 Sydney to Hobart yacht races, back to back, nonstop and facing complete social isolation and sleep deprivation. This is one of the world's most gruelling offshore challenges, and certainly the most difficult offshore record in Australia. I will be taking on several oceans including the infamous Southern Ocean, sleeping for 15 minutes at a time and facing a whole variety of unique challenges to navigate such as crossing the Great Barrier Reef, avoiding crocodiles and pirates, and traversing waves the size of buildings all whilst pushing to break the speed record.

If you would like to donate in support of The Little Aussie Lap 2.0 as I prepare to make my second attempt at claiming the record, I would appreciate any donation, however big or small. All donations are tax deductible, and any donations over $50 will come with the perk of having your name or business name handwritten inside the boat. Any donations over $100 will include your name written on the walls along with a message of your choosing. You will have the opportunity for your message to sail along with me for the duration of my journey around Australia.

Any funds collected will be used in their entirety to contribute towards the record entry fee of  £1880 GBP (Aprox $3200 AUD). Any additional funds over the goal will be used to contribute to other essential components of the project, such as funding the purchase of a of a soft life raft and hydrogenerator.
