Zakaryah has been a competitive cheerleader since 2019 and has been with her current gym Great Lakes Cheerleading since 2020. Over the past 5 years Zakaryah has grown so much as a person and learnt so much from her amazing Coach Shayla.

in 2024 Zakaryah was apart of GLC’s Level 2 team Barracuda’s and also on GLC’s Junior Hip Hop team Manta Rays which was undefeated in 2024.

Zakaryah also started as a Junior Coach in 2024 at GLC and has completed her AASCF credentials for cheer induction in November 2024 and coached a Semi Competitive Hip Hop team GLC Sea Turtles and recreational classes as well.

When Zakaryah heard that her Gym GLC was potentially going to take a team of athletes to America Zakaryah immediately put her had up to join the team. GLC will be taking a team of 12 Athletes to compete in Orlando, Florida in April 2025. This team will be competing at 3 competitions in America, Infinity - The Finals, Youth Summit and G’Day USA powered by CheerCon. Zakaryah has been training hard with GLC USA Team Jaws for the past few weeks and can’t wait to enjoy this experience with her teammates.

Zakaryah has recently been selected on 2 Team Australia teams, Adaptive All Abilities Unified Hip Hop and Team Australia Adaptive All Abilities Unified Cheer. These teams will compete at the ICU World Championships at ESPN World Disney World Resort in Orlando, USA in April 2025.

Zakaryah has a lot of work ahead of her making 2 Team Australia teams and also competing with GLC in America she is going to be one busy girl.

In 2025 Zakaryah has been selected on the GLC Hip Hop team, level 3 development cheer team and the opens team at Great Lakes Cheerleading.

2025 is going to be a big year for Zakaryah.
