The Friends of Gordon Foundation acknowledges the need to ensure the long term sustainability of Gordon Rugby. Our aim is to support, encourage, develop and promote rugby, thereby ensuring the long term future of Gordon Rugby as a leading and innovative club in Sydney.

The Principles of the Friends of Gordon Foundation are.

1.     To promote the playing of rugby.

2.     To optimize the playing success of the Gordon Rugby Club.

3.     To optimize and ensure the financial strength and stability of the Gordon Rugby Football Club Ltd.

4.     To support and promote the development of players and coaches.

5.     To support the administration of the Rugby Club and its rugby program.

6.     To help procure and advance the Rugby Club’s equipment and facilities.

7.     To promote the history and traditions of the Gordon Rugby Club.

8.     To set as a priority the building up of the Foundation’s capital base so as to provide a “Future Fund” for the Gordon Rugby Football Club.

9.     To promote rugby within the local communities associated with Gordon Rugby Football Club and specifically with those Junior Rugby clubs established within those local communities (the Gordon Junior Rugby clubs) where feasible and appropriate.

10. To support the Gordon Junior Rugby clubs where feasible and appropriate.
