Fitzroy Football Club - Player Assistance Fund As most supporters would know, there are considerable costs associated with fielding teams to represent our great club. This includes grounds, trainers, coaches, footballs, insurance, league fees and much more. This means that we need to charge our players registration fees. Many of our players are students with part-time work, or graduates at entry level jobs, and finding the registration fees each season can be a challenge. To help ease this burden, the Club seeks sponsorship of player registration fees by members and supporters. These donations can only cover all or part of a player's registration fees and are managed via the Club rather than being given to the player. Through the Australian Sports Foundation (ASF), supporters and members receive a tax deduction for assisting FFC players to cover the cost of their registration. Coaches each season provide a list of players recommended for sponsorship, with priority given to those who will most benefit from such assistance. Donations of between $295 and $480 will cover player registration fees across all teams, with the 2024 fees outlined here: Team Registration fees Men’s Senior and Reserves $480 Women’s Senior and Reserves $390 Men’s Thirds $325 Under 19s $295 If you would like to make a contribution towards part of a player's registration fee, please feel free to do so and your contribution will be grouped with other kind donations. If there is a particular player you would like your donation to be directed towards, please note their name in the ‘supporter message’ on your form. Marcellin OCFC Operations Fund The Marcellin Old Collegians Football Club have set up its own Operations Fund , partnering with the Australian Sports Foundation , to assist the club through donations being put towards the operating costs of the football club. The Marcellin Old Collegians Football Club was established in 1968 and has been a successful and competitive club within the Victorian Amateur Football Association in its 54 year history. It enters its 55th year with an exciting group of players, fielded by a Senior and Reserves Mens team as well as a Senior Womens team, a Thirds team and an Under 19s team. Although we continue to put five teams on the park each week with a great group of players, coaches and volunteers, unfortunately we have been faced with significant increases to club costs which has put a significant strain on our football organisation. Some of these costs include: Affiliation Fees Coaching and Football Department Trainer Costs Medical Expenses Player Insurance Electricity costs While our membership and sponsors do assist with this, unfortunately the growth of our great community is hampered and hindered by these increase costs. Share in the Monders' Spirit The Ormond Amateur Football Club has partnered with the Australian Sports Foundation to enable all payments to the 'Share in the Monders' Spirit' Campaign to be fully tax deductible. The ' Share in the Monders' Spirit ' Campaign has the vision for Ormond to be the football club of choice in the Ormond and surrounding area, and the mission to exist for footballers and our community to experience a sense of belonging. A significant reserve fund will be the important foundation from which Ormond will progress to Premier B and Premier A, with sustainable club operations, an elite coaching and player development program, player wellbeing program, excellent facilities, and a rock solid association with the Ormond Juniors. The Ormond Amateur Football Club has set up the ' Share in the Monders' Spirit ' Campaign, where contributions will be used to support the operations of the Club and to develop a financial reserve. This will ensure that the Club is able to invest in the necessary personnel, equipment, and facilities, to offer player health and wellbeing programs consistent with the Club's values, in order to turn the aspiration of continued success into reality. Our aim today, 91 years since our formation, is to continue to build on the solid foundations of those who have come before us, and ensure the revered traditions of our proud Club remain strong. SJFNC Facilities Fund The SJFNC Facilities Fund was established to support the development and upgrade of facilities for football and netball for both female and male participants. Our current facilities are out-dated and do not accommodate multi-sport and female participation. New facilities will provide our club's participants with modern, benchmark facilities in order for them reach their potential and maximise enjoyment. We have been working together with the Victorian State Government and the City of Greater Geelong to develop a master plan for Herne Hill Reserve, which will also incorporate elements including improved drainage and car parking, and permit greater community use and neighbourhood accessibility. Philip Cripsey's Olympic Journey Hi, my name is Philip Cripsey. I am 15 years old and am working towards the goal of going to the Olympics (LA 2028/ Brisbane 2032) and winning gold, In the new wind foiling class (IQ foil), the IQ foil class will be new for the 2024 Olympics, and being a foiling class means we can go above 20 knots (37 kph+) around the racecourse. Sailing being an expensive sport, all donations will go straight toward equipment and travel costs. More specifically funding my Europe campaign this year to race against the best youth (U19) at Lake Garda, Italy (international games), and towards the end of this year I’ll be looking at transitioning onto the open/ Olympic kit, a whole new set of equipment. Any donation would be extremely helpful for me to get this equipment, to then be able to race against the best in Australia and the world. I’ve been sailing for 10 years, sailing in multiple different sailing classes including: the optimist, 420 and the IQ foil. I sailed the Opti for around 7 years and in that time, I was part of the Victorian state team for 4 years and a part of the national team for 3 years (proudly representing the country in Oman, Thailand, NZ, New Caledonia, Singapore and Estonia). In the 420 I was selected into the Victorian pathways program (vpp) and sailed the boat for a year. I learnt how to foil towards the end of 2020 and, I’ve competed in a few competitions since then, the main ones being Sail Sydney/Melbourne and the Vic youths, I came 1st youth and 8th overall at sail Melbourne and 3rd at the Vic youths. This year I am in the VIS (Victorian institute of sport), and in June will be going to Italy to compete at one of the international game’s events for IQ foil youth U19. Currently my training schedule is, Gym- 3x a week, cardio- 2x a week, and training on the water 4-6 times a week, working as hard as possible to achieve my goal of Olympic gold, any help would significantly help me and my sailing journey. The Uncoachables Coaching the Uncoachables Academy 2020-2024 Seasons BlowFly Cricket actively develops our 'Uncoachables Coaching the Uncoachables ' coaches, firstly through the completion of the Cricket Australia Accredited Community (formerly Level 1) Course and then ongoing mentorship and experiential learning at various BlowFly Cricket Coaching Clinics held at: Sony Foundation Children’s Holiday Camps, Wheelchair Sports NSW Children’s School Holidays Camps, various specialised and mainstream schools and also WPHCCC Junior Blaster Centre, Coaches’ Association School Holiday Clinics, Schools programs supported by Cricket NSW, Inclusive Sports Days held at public schools supported by local councils and various bodies. With more and more experience and exposure our coaches develop increased levels of self-esteem, self-confidence, self-belief, assertive skills and maturation. Not to overlook the monetary payments for their time and effort. COVID-19 has had a significant impact on all parts of the community, especially regarding physical contact and interaction. This project is in light of the need for online aspects of coaching training and development, which also includes safe infection control and hygiene practices, and in response to our growing number of centres and increasing need for more incredible coaches. Pleasingly, we had seven (7) new CA Accredited Community Coaches join our ranks in January 2023. This is a fantastic achievement which augurs well for the progressive nature of this unique and highly acclaimed inclusive, all-abilities coaching program. South Adelaide Football Club Junior Development Fund The purpose of this initiative is to continue to allow the South Adelaide Football Club to maintain its investment in its talented pathway programs in the Southern zone. By investing in coaching, fitness, talent identification, medical and football equipment the Club's junior programs will continue to be a leader in the SANFL. The club plays a significant role in developing the sport and is committed to connecting and integrating our players into community football, providing a complete football pathway, along with demonstrating behaviours and values as role models for boys, girls, young men and women. South Adelaide works with its neighbouring Leagues in the Southern Football League, Great Southern Football League and Kangaroo Island Football League to foster the growth and participation in football. South Adelaide is committed to making all male and female athletes that enter its program better footballers and people. As well as a strong presence of southern zone footballers in its SANFL and SANFW teams, South Adelaide currently has 16 former players on AFL lists and 10 on AFLW lists demonstrating the strength of its football development programs. Recently the U16 boys program extended to a full season as well as a further advancement to the Club's development squad programs for U13s and U14s. The female programs have also undergone growth with the establishment of a Development League in the SANFLW. 2023 Coaching and training costs The Coaching and High Performance program is aimed at developing the understanding and skills of players in relation to game sense, skills, leadership and strength and conditioning. Strength and conditioning, physiotherapy and rehabilitation expertise and facilities will be provided by Athletes Authority. Game sense, skills and leadership development will be provided by highly experienced coaching staff at North Shore AFC. The intention of the program is to provide skills and understandings over several years to high level female and male players on the North Shore, with the medium term objective of contributing to an elevation of the standard of the game in Sydney, while in the the long term it is expected that some of the participants will go on to coach and mentor future players using the high level of knowledge and skills gained from this program.
