Freeride World Tour 2025 In late August this year I received an invitation to the Freeride World Tour 2025. The FWT sees the world’s best free skiers and snowboarders compete in a series of toured events which take place on what’s known as ‘backcountry’ or ‘big mountain’ – dangerously steep and mountainous terrain. I will be competing against the best in the World over 6 events in Spain, France, Canada, Georgia, Austria and the finals in Switzerland. My first event is mid-January 2025 and the Finals will be in Verbier at the end of March. As great of a surprise as this was, it has left me financially unprepared. I am a self-funded athlete, and I need your support for my pursuit to become the first Australian snowboarder to be Freeride World Champion in 2025. As this is not an Olympic sport, I receive no government funding and currently have no monetary sponsors. When I'm not on snow I am training hard and working to save to get me to these events. I am seeking to raise $30k to cover my expenses for this 3+ month journey. Your kind tax deductible donations will be put towards flights/travel, insurance, food & accommodation, coaching, lift tickets and pre-season training. I will be one of 8 female snowboarders in the world competing in the extreme Freeride World Tour and the only Australian athlete to make the FWT in 2020, 2021, 2023 and now 2025. I started my rookie year on the FWT 2020 with a silver podium in Hakuba, Japan and again making history finishing on top of the podium in Andorra in March; the first Australian, male or female, skier or snowboarder, to take Gold in this event. With the Verbier Extreme Grand Finale cancelled because of COVID, I finished the FWT in 2 nd . I have achieved a few podiums over the years, but I again broke records winning first place at Kicking Horse, Canada, in 2023. Despite that win, and finishing 4 th overall for the season, I had to spend a year on the Qualifying Tour in 2024 in the North American competition, where I won the last event of the season. My hard work has now been rewarded with a wildcard for season 2025. It hasn't always been easy. A potentially career ending accident resulted in a broken back in 2010 when I was competing in an elite slopestyle event in Mammoth, California. This required two gruelling surgeries, involving the implementation of multiple screws and rods to allow the ability to snowboard again. I’ve also had to recover from a knee ACL reconstruction in 2018. I was previously on the Australian Olympic Shadow team for Slopestyle and competed in the FIS World Championships for that discipline. Andorra will host the first FIS Freeride World Championships in 2026 as the FWT prepares for possible Olympic inclusion. I would like to encourage more Aussies into the Freeride competition, and into the backcountry in general. Thro ugh my passion for adventure, I hope to continuously inspire and encourage everyone I meet to explore more, follow their dreams and fill their life with adventure. Mikah Chilas - Australian Schoolboys Tour Hi, I'm Mikah Chilas, a 17 year old football player who has been formally invited to be a member of the Australian U18 Invitational Schoolboys Squad. There is an invitation tour being organised for this age group for this coming January to the UK & Ireland. This tour is endorsed by Football Australia and is included on their talented/elite pathways program. Ever since a young 4 year old boy, I grew up watching my brothers pursue a career in football, and ultimately wanted to follow right in their footsteps. This opportunity allows me to compete against some of Europe's highest competitors, and to make my dream a reality. By representing Australia, my ultimate goal is to proudly wear the green and gold on the international stage. Your support and donations allow me to have an opportunity to showcase my talent on an international stage, grow as a player, and gain invaluable experience, with minimising the financial stress. College Cricket Club Social Members Development Fund The College Cricket Club Social Member's Development Fund is an opportunity for club supporters to assist with the required maintenance of the College Cricket Club's newly upgraded playing facility. During the 2019-20 season the Club completed a $120,000 upgrade of its playing facilities including major improvements to soil structure, drainage, irrigation and the playing surface and was complemented by the installation of a traditional white picket fence and purchase of a cylinder mower. We are now shifting the focus of our regular Social Membership drive to allow for the required upkeep of this facility including a maintenance routine for the outfield, ensuring the sustainability of the quality facility that has been produced. Social Membership is again priced at $50 for the season and will be acknowledged with a trucker style College Cricket Club cap, listing of your name on the honour board inside our clubrooms and recognition on the club's social media and newsletter mediums. Through the club's fundraising partnership with the Australian Sports Foundation, Social Memberships are tax-deductible and can now be made via credit card. Activities are primarily focused on participation and on the wholistic well being of each person involved. Trained leaders and volunteers provide a supportive and safe community for young people (and the young at heart) to enjoy surfing and adventure, whilst being positive role models that encourage healthy life choices and gratitude to the Creator of the waves. What is the CSA National Mission? CSA partners with the Australian Sports Foundation to provide tax-deductible receipts for donors to give toward the success of CSA grass roots programs throughout Australia. Funding will be used to support new initiatives and strategic projects that will better equip and serve the national movement. These crucial projects will encourage growth in the numbers of programs as well as the effective delivery of training and resourcing to leaders and volunteers. Newtown and Chilwell Future Proofing We are a Geelong based, community sports club that offers both netball and football to over 400 young people in the Geelong area. Our club is over 80 years old having merged in 1934 from two clubs, Newtown and also Chilwell who date their existence back to 1874/75. We are also a key focal point for our local community who come and support our teams through winter and summer competitions.Our fundraising will support the provision of equipment and associated training facilities such as rehabilitation, training and change room facilities to cater for an ever increasing participation base. World Match Racing Tour Campaign We are a motivated young team who are looking to break into the top of the match racing scene. Having built a strong youth foundation, we are looking to bring the challenge to some of the more experienced teams. Since our first major match racing events in 2023, we have managed some great results, and have quietly been focusing on improving our performances. We are looking to bring consistency and make a statement in 2024. To take this next step our target events are the World Match Racing Tour Final in Shenzhen, China from 10 - 15 December 2024 and the 60 th WMRT Congressional Cup in April 2025. We have really come together through our love of the sport. We are constantly looking for ways to increase our time on the water together and build the great team chemistry we have, win, or lose. As university students, we balance part time work with our sailing and university commitments to help support our campaign. Any additional financial assistance to the team is always greatly appreciated to help us achieve our goals.

We are a youth team who love Match Racing. We have been working up through youth events and with your help we hope to compete in and win events on the World Match Racing Tour in 2024/25!

This program will use the positive effect of our new premises alongside specific training tools, particularly in simulation learning and physical preparation, to create a program of high performance, specific to our professional motorsport. The structure of the WAU Foundation Academy is focussed to provide a pipeline of opportunity for elite talent into the ‘main game’ of Supercars. At its core, the premise is to allow the best talent to rise - irrespective of funding, background or wealth. We want to open doors and intensify talent.
