WMH Masters Hockey World Cup Hello All, You all know me pretty well, and you would know that I have played hockey for most of my life. There has been a few hiccups along the way, but I am still here playing the sport that I do love. I have been lucky enough to represent Australia at the previous World Cup in Spain in 2018, and then again was named in the team for 2020 and 2021 (which were both cancelled due to covid). Since 2018 I have been busy, completely rupturing my ACL in 2021. Rehab was my focus to get back on the pitch with a fresh goal in sight. 11 months post surgery and I was back playing tournament hockey and named in the 2023 Trans Tasman team to play in New Zealand. Fast Forward to October 2023 and I was once again named in the Australian World Cup Team to play in Auckland this coming November. I am applying for support to ease the financial stress of all of these hockey trips. Some people say I should retire, others say go for it.. So I am going for it - and if anyone can help me , I would be forever grateful. Thank you for reading my story.

In November, I'll be lucky enough wear the green and gold representing Australian in Hockey competing at the Masters Hockey World Cup in Aukland, NZ.

RUCC Player Scholarship Program The RUCC Scholarship program looks to encourage local junior players to commence or continue to play cricket with the club into the Senior ranks. The scholarship program is spit into two facets; SENIOR SCHOLARSHIPS aimed at players who have completed school and will be playing Senior cricket. TIGER SCHOLARSHIPS aimed at High School students who are presently in RUCC Junior teams to experience playing Senior cricket at different times throughout the season. The scholarships will be for both male and female players to build a more youthful and local player base.

The new RUCC scholarships aims to encourage former and current Junior players of RUCC to continue to play cricket for the club in the Senior sides, rejuvenating the current playing squad with a local and youthful player base for both the Men's and Women's teams.

Piper to the USA Piper has trained with Great Lakes Cheerleading since 2020, and began competing in 2021. From a Netballer with an interest in Gymnastics, to a fully committed cheerleader in 12 months, Piper has quickly become a valuable athlete in her gym- being awarded the Champion Minded Athlete of the Year in 2023. Piper has also developed and thrived with leadership roles in her team and the gym, being asked to assist in lower level teams and becoming a role model for younger athletes, not only with her athletic skills but also her loving, caring, and professional nature. When her gym announced the possibility of a USA team of our own for 2025 Infinity- The Finals, The Youth Summit, and the newly announced "G'day USA" powered by Cheercon; Piper was immediately interested. Piper has been so excited to train and compete with both athletes from her 2024 team, the Barracudas, and our Gym's Level 1 Team, the Electric Eels to make this dream a reality! Piper will have a T-shirt in honour of this fundraiser and everyone involved to wear on her USA trip!

Helping and supporting Regional All Abilities Rebellion soccer team The Regional Rebellion soccer team is an all abilities team based in Wangaratta Victoria. We are looking for more sponsors that can help us to keep growing and to be better as a team. We have to travel for competitions so accommodation and travel is something we desperately need help with but also we could do with new goals at our ground as we ain’t Alined with a club and team bonding camps and more competitions outside Victoria is something we definitely need help with money to make it all happen. I work 24/7 for this team i built it with someone great people with disabilities and mental health im the coach player and everything else that keeps this team running but I do need all the help and support to get us moving forward

CSWPC AWL Import & Travel Fund The Australian Water Polo League is Australia's highest calibre of water polo competition, with Cronulla entering a Men's and Women's team each year. With this comes a significant cost to both the club and the players, who are mostly self-funded and take time off work to compete in the competition. This fund contributes to expenses for the club to bring out international players, including travel, lodging and playing expenses.

The CSWPC AWL Import & Travel Fund is designed to reduce the burden of cost on our top level players, so they can focus on competing and training in Australia's highest level water polo competition, the AWL.

Kids Sport 2020 It is my mission to teach kids to enjoy and love sport at an early age to better their futures. In recent times due to social distancing and isolation, our lives as we know it have changed. It is important that as the restrictions start to ease children are encouraged to engage in sporting activities in small groups with other children. Our Sport sessions are not only fun, they provide fitness for a healthy lifestyle and they also teach your kids vital skills they use in their daily life. 1. The skill development they gain in sport encourages hand-eye coordination, focus, balance and aim. 2. The social participation aspect allows them to learn to take turns, work as a team, leadership skills, make friends and generally feel included in a group. Our goal is to create a program which is fun and includes all kids. Our programs will teach kids sport skills and skills to better their life. Finishing touch campaign - Geelong Cricket Ground As we look forward to the opening of our amazing new facilities in the Kardinia Park Stadium, where we will have arguably the best off field facilities in Victorian Premier cricket, we now look to the Finishing Touches where we can ensure that the Geelong Cricket Ground is dressed to match. Growing from 2 teams to the 11 teams we field in 2023; including 4 Female X1's plus 2 academy programs. From a shared ground with poor dressing sheds and practice facilities to our revered facilities today. With the support of the City of Greater Geelong, Cricket Victoria and Cricket Australia, we are looking for support to have our ground to finished with a white picket fence in keeping with the top cricket arenas throughout Australia. The total cost of the project is $70,000 for which we need your assistance. This is your chance to become a permanent part of Geelong CC history. By purchasing a picket ($200) or panel ($1000) your name will be proudly displayed on our fence as a contributor to the history of amazing support for our club. Help australia compete in korea for wheelchair curling Hi my names nathan pentecost and i have represented australia in 3 sports wheelchair racing,powerlifting and wheelchair rugby league wheelchair curling will be my 4th sport representing australia. I am in need of donations to join the australian wheelchair curling team to compete in korea in november. I also have to fundraise to take a nurse over with me to korea otherwise i can't compete. Orienteering ACT Development Fund Our participants range from novices to aspiring champions in a range of orienteering disciplines and age classes. We aim for every orienteer to realise their full potential, regardless of their age and level. Below are examples of groups and activities that our fundraising program supports: • Support for the OACT Team to attend the Australian Schools Orienteering Championship plus Blue Lightning (Development squad for junior orienteers in the ACT primarily 12 - 18 years old, secondary school). • Map mates (Action packed adventure series for children aged 7 to 13, beginners with emphasis on fun and adventure while learning to orienteer. Aim is a good transition from school maps to bush maps.) • SC-ORE (Team based orienteering challenge for Primary School aged children for relays at school grounds.) • Focus on Girls (an after-school coaching group for girls aged 10 and above from beginner to more technical, to meet other girls interested in orienteering.) • Keep up (with the Kids) - a coaching program for beginner adults, parents in particular, to learn orienteering so they can keep up with their kids! 360 Sports Leadership Camp Emerging sports leaders will enjoy a world class weeklong camp with local and international athletes, coaches and mentors. Athletes will be elevated to excellence as a leader of influence, showing the moral leadership to boldly stand out in the crowd. There is a demand for sports leaders who will positively influence their teams and the thousand who adore elite athletes. This camp will develop the whole athlete - body, mind and heart/spirit. A platform for success as an athlete requires a solid foundation as a person. Athletes will see that charatcer, values, beliefs, motivation and purpose are essential for producing the capacity to lead themselves and others. Athletes will learn from lectures, group inititives, physical challenges, personal reflections, daily 1-1 mentoring and a take home Personal Game Plan to chelp them to continue growing with the support of a mentor and / or small Huddle group. Of course, there will be lots of hang out time, sports and food!

Parkrun Australia Defib Appeal 2024 At parkrun, the safety and wellbeing of our community is our top priority. Every parkrun event is equipped with a life-saving defibrillator to help in instances of Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA). However, to ensure these critical devices are always ready to perform when needed, they must be replaced at least every eight years. Your support is vital in maintaining our defibrillators in peak condition. Regular maintenance is essential, including checking and replacing pads and batteries and monitoring expiry dates. This ongoing care ensures that our defibrillators are always effective and reliable in an emergency. Since 2011, parkrun in Australia has expanded to 500 communities around the country with more than one million people having taken part. As encouraging as our expansion is for the health and happiness of people around Australia, parkrun must remain committed to ensuring the safety of our participants. No matter the location of a parkrun, we believe everyone deserves the same right to a safe and secure event. This means preparing for the unexpected wherever we can. One of the most essential aspects to prepare for is SCA, which causes a death every 80 minutes in Australia. SCA can affect anyone, anywhere. Each minute without Defibrillation reduces the chances of survival by 9%. As a Global health charity, committed to maximising health and wellbeing, we believe in the highest standard of safety, which means maintaining equipment of the highest standard. No defib, no parkrun. Our parkrun Australia Defib Appeal has been established to ensure we can continue to provide the highest standard of safety for participants. Your donation will support existing parkrun events along with helping the establishment of parkruns in more locations. Why are defibs important? According to a study lead by Monash University PhD Scholar, Briad Haskins: “Remember for best outcomes, you need to get an AED [defibrillator] to someone within five minutes of them collapsing.” According to the Australia Bureau of Statistics , almost 2% of people in Australia will experience a heart attack sometime in their life. The rate of people reporting heart attacks has increased 6% since 2017-18. Heart attacks are responsible for causing almost 1 in 25 of all deaths. One person dies from a heart attack approximately every 80 minutes. One person every nine minutes is hospitalised due to a heart attack. People living in Inner Regional Australia were more likely to have heart, stroke and vascular disease than those in Major Cities (7.3% compared to 4.6%) According to Heart Research Australia using a defibrillator within the first minute of sudden cardiac arrest, can potentially increase the chance of survival rate to 90%.

Provide new and replacement defibrillators wherever they are needed at parkrun Australia events to keep parkrun safe for everyone.
