With the proud history stretching back to 1881, the Adelaide University Boat Club aims to provide a great Club rowing atmosphere for both students at Adelaide University, graduates and the broader community. Its annual focus is to win races at the Australian University Rowing Championships, generally held at the start of October each year. In addition, the Club races in the South Australian regatta series as well as travelling interstate, including to the national rowing championships each year. With multiple State, National and Olympic representatives, the Club also aims to provide a pathway for its members who want to compete at the highest levels. 

The Adelaide University Boat Club Foundation is a “Future Fund” asset of the Club separately controlled and managed by a committee of Trustees with funds invested conservatively by an independent investment committee and audited annually. The initial goal of the Foundation is to raise a capital investment sum of $2m by the Club’s 150th anniversary year of 2031.

The Adelaide University Boat Club Foundation is registered with the Australian Sports Foundation and all donations of $2 or more are tax deductible. All contributions, no matter what size, are greatly appreciated and will help secure the future for our great club.
